Sisältö
Current developments in implantology in recent years has significantly changed the re-quirements and wishes of patients concerning the implant treatment. Implants no longer simply have to be osseointegrated, but instead have to be inserted in the ideal position ac-cording to a prosthetic treatment concept. As a result, most of the implant treatments require some kind of bone augmentation and accompanying soft tissue management. The implantol-ogist has a wide range of options and materials to choose from. It is important to use these various methods correctly and to reduce morbidity for the patient. Sinus floor elevation, guided tissue regeneration, autologous bone transplantation or allogeneic bone blocks - what are the indications? Is autologous bone irreplaceable as the gold standard or do we now have equivalent methods available? What do allogeneic bone replacement materials do and how safe is their usage? The course is aimed at dentists, oral surgeons and oral and maxillofacial surgeons who prac-tice implantology and who want to expand their spectrum in the field of implantology, espe-cially in the area of augmentative surgery and soft tissue management. With the help of nu-merous clinical images and video demonstrations, the techniques, methods and materials for surgical interventions in the implant field will be presented in a practical and reproducible manner.
• presentation of the instruments & materials
• incision and flap design
• bone harvesting, bone substitutes, membranes
• bones splitting / spreading
• internal / external sinus floor elevation
• guided bone regeneration (GBR)
• autologous bone augmentation (split bone technique)
• allogeneic bone grafts
• advanced skills in soft tissue management (vestibuloplasty, roll flap, apically reposi-tioned flap, CTG, FGG)
• complication management
